"Trainspotting" was the debut novel of Scottish writer Irvine Welsh, and little did he know upon publishing that Danny Boyle's movie version from 1996 would make his story a global success even 30 years on, and label it 'the voice of punk'.

Join us for an epic in your face evening in the company of characters like Rent Boy, Sick Boy, Diane, Spud and Begbie when we discuss the book, listen to the music and watch the film version together. 

Havn't read the book? Don't worry! This evening is for everyone with an interest in the Trainspotting univers, and we will take you by the hand as we talk about it.

You are welcome to bring your own food, but we recommend that you eat it before we show the film ;-) 

We will sell cold drinks, and there is a coffee vending machine in the library. We don't sell any snacks.
